Thanks to all who joined us last night to help us officially launch TweeParties, Inc.!
We gathered on Twitter at 10 pm ET to discuss all things social media, introduce tweeps to TweeParties, have some giveaways and a lot of fun!

Introduction by Twee Host Erin, founder of TweeParties, Inc. Erin described the topic for the evening, some rules for the giveaways and introduced everyone to TweeParties, a new social media marketing company specializing in Twitter parties and promotion. She said one of TweeParties’s goals is to become a source of information about attending Twitter parties, including an event calendar listing info for all parties and events on Twitter.

Why does everyone use Twitter? How often to you log onto Twitter? Some replies: tweeparties I sign on in the morning and evening…sometimes I sneak a peak at work;” “I’m on twitter on and off all day;” “I’m on several hours a day, every day;” “several times a day unless traveling.”
How many of you frequently attend Twitter parties? How many are new? Some replies: “Not a newbie, I have even won something myself;” “I do alot of parties but they can be frustrating;” “I love ’em;” “Frequent flier here;” “Newbie!” “I’m not new, but not good at this either, I attend very few parties, this one was recomended;” “I’m quickly learning how addicting it’s becoming!”

What do you like about Twitter parties (or dislike?) Some replies: “I love the prizes best;” “I love talking and making new Twitter friends;” “I hate when people spam a party!” “Prizes and good chat.”
Does anyone have any suggestions for improving Twitter parties? Some replies: “I hate the lag. and please don’t make prizes comment #…prefer random, more fair;” “Clear rules!” “I’d like to see more questions that are fair to everyone, including those with slower connections;” “I would say use random.com to pick the winners;” “Random to pick winners instead;” “Nope…not me. Sometimes (random contests) are so boring. At least this way people are more engaged. Actually party.”
What’s most important to you at Twitter parties? Some replies: “Both cool giveaways & celeb guest host are awesome;” “Cool giveaways, the topic and the people!” “Cool giveaways and a fun topic are great;” “Other than see my name & WINNER more often? I think parties should be FUN.”
